Business Development & Communication Coordinator

As we embark on the next phase of our journey, Gehl is seeking a dynamic and energetic Business Development and Communication Coordinator to join the team.
The Business Development and Communication Coordinator takes initiative in lead generation, client outreach, and proactive relationship management. The role not only supports but also actively drives business development efforts by continuously seeking new opportunities, refining client engagement, and being forward-thinking in strategic planning and execution.
This role is designed to offer crucial support to the Director while ensuring that Gehl’s business development and communication efforts are executed with excellence. The candidate will play an instrumental role in contributing to Gehl’s growth and market presence through their coordination, execution, and attention to detail in both business development and communication tasks.
Proactive Business Development Initiatives:
Lead Generation and Outreach: Take ownership of identifying prospective clients and partners through various channels, including networking events, digital platforms, and client referrals. Proactively engage in outreach activities in collaboration with the responsible Team Director.
Relationship Building: Take a proactive role in nurturing relationships with existing clients and collaborators that can lead to new business development opportunities.
Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an active and up-to-date sales pipeline. Track potential leads, ensuring regular follow-ups are conducted, and coordinate with the responsible Team Director on opportunities that are progressing.
Proposal Development:
Pitch development: Assist in creating and refining business development pitches, ensuring each pitch is tailored to the prospective client's sector, needs, and decision-making process. Take the initiative to schedule and organize pitch presentations with potential clients and partners.
Proposal development: Lead the preparation of tailored proposals and presentations that respond to the specific needs of prospective clients. Ensure that proposals showcase Gehl’s unique value proposition and expertise in a clear, compelling manner.
Tender processes: Run effective public tender processes through ensuring that related sales material is ready and updated. Register on relevant tender platforms and lead tender submissions that are accurate and respond to the brief and the tender requirements.
Communication Support:
Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and Communication to ensure communication initiatives align with business development objectives.
Contribute to the creation of content for social media, website updates, newsletters, and articles that support Gehl’s messaging and lead generation goals.
Coordinate the development and distribution of marketing and sales materials, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
Monitor communication metrics and feedback to measure impact and suggest improvements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a support role focused on business development, marketing, or communications.
Industry Experience: Experience in a consulting organization. Familiarity with the built environment, urban design, or sustainable urbanism is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google suite, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools (such as social media platforms and content management systems).

Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
