About the job

As Group Finance Manager and Project Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and operational effectiveness of Gehl. You will work across our group structure, which includes studios in Copenhagen, New York, San Francisco and other global project locations.

You will be responsible for both group-level financial consolidation and project-level financial oversight from the Copenhagen based projects, ensuring data-driven decision-making, financial compliance, and strategic insight that supports our leadership and project teams.

We work with Business Central, Eazyproject and PowerBi. 

Key Responsibilities

Group Finance:

  • Drive monthly consolidation and reporting across entities

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the Gehl group

  • Collaborate with the team in Copenhagen and New York and auditors in multiple jurisdictions

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

  • Deliver financial insights to management to support strategic decisions

Project Controlling:

  • Support project managers with budget planning, monitoring, and financial reporting for Copenhagen based projects.

  • Monitor and assist project profitability, invoicing, and cash flow

  • Maintain project accounting systems and tools (EazyProject and Business Central)

  • Proactively flag risks and support corrective action on underperforming projects

What we are looking for

  • Degree in finance, accounting, business, or similar

  • Strong communicative skills

  • Able to work independently

  • 3–5+ years of experience in financial and/or project controlling

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Experience with international financial operations and group consolidation

  • Familiarity with project-based businesses (consulting, architecture, engineering, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Business Central, EazyProject and PowerBi)

  • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset

  • Fluent in English (Danish is a plus)
